I lost my father unexpectedly last fall. We were completely unprepared to deal with his estate and there was no will. A friend of ours had worked with Legacy Law Center on an estate plan and after doing my own research I was impressed with the law firm and made an appointment.
We met with Chuck and one of the first things he said that part of his job is to alleviate the already stressful situation of having a family member pass away. Over the course of our first meeting, I quickly realized that this was the right law firm to help our family and we hired Legacy at the end of the consultation.
From there, Legacy kept us informed on a weekly basis with updates of what the current step in the process was, the next steps and what I needed to get done as the administrator and executor of the estate. Boy was that a relief because I could see the end was coming near as the probate moved forward. Legacy handled all of the filings with my assistance on the input in the filings and we closed the estate soon after the minimum time allowed. Margoth was great to work with as well. She worked with me on times to meet since that was tricky with both of our schedules. On a couple of occasions, I met after hours and that was so helpful to me.
My only other experience with lawyers was in my divorce and that was a nightmare. Legacy Law Center and Chuck Moore were a pleasure to deal with and I recommend them to anyone. The experience of losing my Dad out of the blue caused my husband and I to get our affairs in order with wills and powers of attorney. Guess who we used?
I can’t recommend Legacy Law Center enough. Great job guys!
